As I've been talking about for the last few weeks, digital learning can undoubtedly be an effective tool when used well.
But for this to happen, we need to be inventive in our use of it and bring the best practices we use in face-to-face training to digital.
We could talk about "e-etiquette", which are things as simple as keeping the camera on, not watching the training on a mobile phone while driving, not lying on the sofa, etc.... (let anyone who has never done this cast the first stone).
But more than just following the basic rules of good education and training, we need to realise that digital learning is definitely here to stay!
And for it to be a useful tool, you need to know how to create dynamic content that encourages learning and allows employees to participate effectively.
It's not enough to impart knowledge, it needs to be understood in a way that is natural and arouses interest.
