Brazil recorded a 2.9% growth in GDP in 2023, rising from the 11th to the 9th position in the ranking of the world's largest economies, surpassing Canada and Russia. The United States, China, and Germany continue to lead the ranking. Russia dropped to 11th place due to the conflict with Ukraine.
In the 2023 GDP growth ranking, Brazil positioned itself 14th among 54 countries, with highlights being Mongolia (7.1%) and India (6.7%). In the fourth quarter of 2023, Brazilian GDP remained stable (0.0%) compared to the previous quarter, ranking 35th among 47 evaluated countries.
